Questionable bottle shared, thanks to the kermis. Massive thick roasty sweet soft spiced stuff. Amazing stuff. Fucking insane. Thick, massive roast, sweeter than I’d shop for but fuck horny heaven. Burnt palm sugar and roasted rye, coffee and burning spices. Thick sweet deep darkness in syruppy shape. Full body and hardly any carbonation left. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dark Lord Loadstar (2019) on 11 Jul 2020 at 01:11 - Score: 8. Original review text: THT July. Bottle shared. Thanks Brad. Pours a pitch black with a brown head and small coconut flakes appear as the head dissipates. Classic Dark Lord nose with soy sauce, cacao nib and muted coffee notes with a ton of coconut and light vanilla on top. Smooth on the palate with the darker, roasty flavors complementing the coconut and vanilla notes well. Smooth finish with brown sugar, molasses and coconut lingering on the finish.

Black with ring beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coconut, soy, oak, vanilla and brownies. Flavour is heavy sweet. Typical dark lord but I’m liking it. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
