Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: nice, good roast, alcohol, chocolate, cocoa powder, a bit oxidized, earthy, some soy sauce. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: nice roast, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, some dried fruits, a bit of tannins, pretty bitter, nice! Aftertaste: more roast, cocoa powder, bitter, dry, alcohol, a touch of vanilla, very decent stuff!

Donkerbruin bier met bruin schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is krachtig warm, licht bitter en licht kruidig zoet met veel eikenhout en wat koffie en chocolade. Vind het eiken ietwat te overheersend.

Kerstbier Festival. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of mid sweet strong dark malt, liquorice, wood. Taste of intense liquorice, sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, melasse.

66cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a small tan lacing. Aroma of intense oak chips, sweet dark malt, chocolate. Taste of strong dark moderate roasted malt, coffee, oak chips, vanilla, slightly boozy finish.

Keine Karbonisierung. Voluminöser Beginn, zu viel Bourbon, da waren die Chips zu lange im Bier. Intensiv malzig, trockener Hintergrund, cremig, merkwürdigerweise nie wirklich alkoholisch. Likörartig. 8/8/7/7/8/7

Black and oily with no head. Aroma and flavour have lots of woody notes from the chips. Sweet and earthy notes too. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle shared a couple of days ago. Opaque black color, virtually no head. Aroma and flavor are malts, alcohol, liquor, sweetness. Boozy and heavy.

Head gone in seconds; black, still beer. Bourbon, vanilla, fusels & alcohol, boozy, wood, sweet nose. Vanilla & Bourbon dominating the taste, further incense, sweet, but not cloying, and drier than the nose had me thinking. Booze seriously intensifies the sweetness. Very serious alcoholthinning and furious alcoholheat. Chewy, full bodied, and burning MF. Beyond intense, complex as few. But I still find it too sweet. Thanks to Stef!
