Draft @ Toronado, SF. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a small white head. Has a malty spicy yeasty aroma with hints of citrus. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty and slightly hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty finish.

Sweet, fruity aroma, with honey, melons, apple, yeast. Light hop aroma. Dark honey gold color with a relatively small head. Very sweet flavor, cloyingly. Fruits, honey, brown sugar. Bitter hop finish, though, which balances the initial sweet blast. Alcohol heat and a touch of tartness also work. Decent, but overall not really dry enough for a tripel. Too sweet.

Sampled on draft at Zenos in State College PA this beer poured a murky dark yellow-gold color with a small yellow-white head that faded quickly. The aroma was strong sweet malts, banana and sugar. The flavor was strong tangy malty with notes of banana, pear and cane sugar. Moderate amounts of alcohol show through on the flavor. The mouthfeel was thick and full bodied. Nice.

Hazy light gold. Fruity, sweet with hints of 7-UP. Very sweet, plasticy with notes of pears. OK beer, but it’s a bit too sweet and spritzy for my personal tastes.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy gold, no head. Maybe not the greatest version of this beer, really a little flat as a beer, carbonation stings like a bugger, but throws no head. Maybe the bottle fermentation didn’t take well. Very fruity. Not much of the 9% ABV comes through. Very metallic due to over carbonation.

Bottle kindly passed onto me by Glen, Imdownthepub, cheers mate Nice pour quite clear golden with just a merest hint of haze nice white bubbly head. Toffee and banana dominate the nose along with some yeast. This is a strong quite sweet beer but very flavoursome, the toffee and banana show again, there is some citrus but very little bitterness, its a nice beer.

750 Bottle...Off-white head that shrinks to a cm...cloudy golden body--close to copper...clove in the nostrils and whiffs of orange tucked into a fresh yeast bed....as it sits those scents mingle and become intensified...Wow holy carbonation...after I get over it, the same aromas come through to the tongue, with a slight addition of malt...a combined sour + citrus finish with a yeasty bite, its good...pretty typical for this style...extreme carbonation is a bit of a turn off though....as it sits, way more yeast protrudes into the aroma and flavor...also the massive carbonation subsides as it sits...props to the disguised alcohol...lacing is also weak...very similar on draft

Hazy dark gold orange color with a big, fluffy off-white head. Aroma is lightly peppery with fruit and flowers. All in a light blond way. Nice fruit start; just a touch of pepper or spice; some heat. Pale malt or biscuit behind all that. It’s pretty tasty. Finishes more dry than not. A little sugar is in the wings. Good drink.
