500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with frothy white head. Floral hop aroma, some coriander. A little bit floppy malt basis for some floral hop notes, some sweetness in the finish, fruit tea-like. Good hop note for a Lager.

50cl bottle. Pours light golden with steady bubbles and a nicely proportioned head. The nose has grapefruit and flowers. The taste has pine and grapefruit against a gentle hay background. The palate is light to medium in body with a tangy finish and a long zingy finish. Overall, a great easy quaffer.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s Nairn
Typical lager appearance, very light amber, frothy white head which dissipates to thin layer, not much lacing
Aroma - bit of grassy hop, hint of straw, bit of cereal.
Taste - light lager malts, bit of bitter spicy hop, some cereal - then the grassy hops come through to the finish
Palate - soft carb, very thin body. Finish - a continuation of the grassy hops, becomes more bitter, intensifies a bit, then drops down and clears leaving a slight residual metallicness.
Overall - Plain lager (which is considerably better than standard macro lager) with grassy hops. That’s it. OK but a bit disappointed - wasn’t really a lager/IPA hybrid. Good experiment to try out though. However, it is a reasonably good beer.

Light blond colour. Fresh, zesty, citrus hop aroma. Soft texture. Citrusy lemony flavour. It fades away in the finish somewhat, lacks dry hop bitterness.
