Clear brown, frothy, light beige head. Aroma has dark caramel, spice, prunes. Flavour is maltier, sweetish, with a light alcohol burn. Fruity finish.

Bottle: Nose is quite like a Christmas beer, cloves, almond, spice a little oak and lots of Belgian yeast. Taste is roast leading to Belgian yeast, a little white chocolate, berry, almond and a soft dry finish. It’s a very nice beer but a bit short in the finish with the dry note not quite right for me.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, röstig, dunkles reifes Obst. Geschmack röstmalzig, stark malzig, überreife Früchte, Karamell.

In Leuven, 33 bottle. Pours dark brown, cloudy with a 2 fingers tick brown foamy head. Nose: prunes, figs, coffee and roasted malts. Mild and balanced mouth: sweet notes of coffee, tons of dry fruit and a smooth end. Great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaske fra Belgisk Bryg: mørkebrun farge og med et skum som belgierne er eksperter på - højt og med gode kniplinger. Aroma og smak av mørkt kandissukker, svisker, rosiner, elegante krydderier og et snev av brente mandler. Farlig god. 0,33 flaske, en god stridsrasjon.
