Strong beer, with some notes of malt, grain, hops, yeast and fruits. Everything actually. Can’t make out how to describe this.

Bottle shared by Ken at CBC tasting. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The nose is earth, sherbet, pear, apple, melon, hay and icing sugar. The taste is hay, earth, icing sugar. sherbet, decent bitterness, toast, pear, melon, alcohol warmth, mustiness and dirt. Medium-full body, high carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not a whole lot to it and perhaps a touch sweet. Still not bad.

Craft Clerkenwell Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer. Mahooosive off white head. Palate is light, fluffy and a little dry. Light bitterish yeast. Touch of caraway nutty pale malt. Mild dried fruits. Finishes bitter. Interesting and quite drinkable.

Bottle split at Craft Clerko, big thanks to Ken, 26/06/13. Hazed yellow blonde with a white covering, some floaties on show but they had pretty faces so I kept the score as a 4! Nose is grass, wheaten notes, lemon rind, grain, sugars, touch of booze, bitter orange. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon rind, light yeast, bready malt, grass, warming booze. Full bodied, moderate carbonation, ever warming alcohol in the finish. Ok beer, not a lot of depth and the booze was on the harsh side. Glad to be sharing a small pour and not nursing a bottle between 2 !

Bottle shared at CBC - big thanks to Ken for some La Rulles! Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy white head. Sweet doughy pale malt nose, some melon and tangerine, light yeast. Big sweet flavor with sugary and doughy pale malts, light bitter hay, yeast, mild citrus. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, fairly dry, medium sweet, with dried dough, yeast and lemon rind. Solid.

75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes @ De Baron, Eindhoven. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off - white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste malts, fruityness, slightly cardboard, a bit yeasty, a bit dry. Quite decent, but not spectacular. Medoum body, low to medium carbonation.
