Het bier wordt sinds 2010 gebrouwen in Brasserie Artisanale de Rulles te Rulles. Het is een donkerblond bier met een alcoholpercentage van 10%. Dit bier werd gelanceerd ter gelegenheid van het 10-jarig bestaan van de brouwerij. Het bier is verkrijgbaar in flessen van 33cl en 75cl. De etiketten werden ontworpen door illustrator PaliX (Pierre-Alexandre Haquin).

Bottle, 10%. Slightly hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, fruit, hops and spices. Flavour is malt, yeast, fruit, hops, medium bitter, little sweet, spices with notes of alcohol.

Draft 25 cl. @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas: A: hazy bright golden with a creamy white head – S: hay; very strong esters, quite BE in their way; citrus hops, very heavy on the spices and hoppy in a BE way – T: very bitter, hay, BE esters, strong bitter with heavy bitter spices; lingering bitterness; zesty; alcohol in the back, light sugar – B: clean; very drying – a not bad Belgian bitter beer overall – an ok Belgian IPA if you must

09/09/2012 Birrifugio Trastevere (tap). Dorata, torbidissima, opalescente, discreta schiuma morbida, abbastanza persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, zucchero di canna, lieviti, alcol. In bocca conferma le cattive impressioni olfattive, dolce ed etilica, per nulla equilibrata, luppolo non pervenuto e lieviti strapazzati. Corpo medio-pieno, carbonazione soft. Birra deludente, troppo sbilanciata e in condizioni pietose, probabile un problema in fase di stoccaggio o distribuzione.

Bottle, 75cl, at Patricks. It pours an unclear, golden-orange body and a big, white head leaving lacings. The aroma is sugary and fruity, orange mostly, and with some spice hints and alcohol. White sugar, oranges, citrus peel and a nice bitterness in the flavor. A bit too warming on the palate maybe, full-bodied and almost sticky. Bitter and citrusy finish. A pleasant beer indeed, although a bit heavy on the alcohol. 120317

Pours deep gold into a tulip. White pancake head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet candi, caramel and yeast aromas. Full and sweet with honey, caramel and hay upfront turning to an earthy bitter lasting finish. Not has hot as I would have expected for 10%...

75cl Bottle from De Bierkoning, to finish the Czecho-Slovakian lager tasting. Hazy golden colour, dense white head. Aroma of lots of sweet ripe fruits, yeast, malts. Flavour is sweet at first, fruity, malty, light bready, light spicy yeast, very dry bitter malty and hoppy finish with some alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. I quite liked this one.

A orange yellow beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is fruitfull, mandarin, yeast, spicyness, hint of marshmellow and banana; a great aroma. Taste of fruits, mandarin, lots of spicyness, some citrusfruits and fructose, enough of bitterness that dries the aftertaste to herbal. Full- bodied, smooth and lightning carbonation, easy to enjoy. Very succesfull beer, complexicity with easy enjoyability; the great beer again from Rulles.

Pours hazy dark golden color with white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, candi sugar and citrus. Sweet caramel and doughy yeast flavors with some citrus. Medium body with moderate carbonation.
