Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Brownblack color, with a dense large foamy brown head. Roasted malt aromas, chocolate, some hops. Taste is more complex than the aroma, roastd malts, chocolate, caramel, hoppy, bitter aftertaste. Quite tasty.

750mL courtesy of sebletitje. It pours with a deep darkness as well as with a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet dark fruity esters, chocolate and some dark roasted malts rimmed thinly by burnt malts. In the background I get an light earthy tobacco sort of note. The taste is nice with a pleasing depth coming from dark roasted malts to a mild level of burnt malts and thin diving into chocolate malts. Into the finish the burnt malts grow to close out the experience.

Draught at World Beer Museum. Roasty malt nose, cafe au lait, spice, wood, fruit, esters, Belgian yeast, and a bit of acid. Black with fine brown lace. Woody, roasty flavor with coffee and light fruits. Well bitter and some acid which tell me it is a bit off, though just a bit and the roasty malts cover it nicely. Decent.

Bottle from Malting Pot, Brussels
Black color, with generous brownish compact head. It has a seducing aroma of malt and chocolate, with hints of vanilla, followed by coffee and hops. Good body structure, with a fantastic chocolate flavor, with some roasted malts, light coffee, cream, some wood, light smoke. Correct bitterness.
It has thrills and balance. Excellent beer.

25cl on-tap @ Diesters Bierfestival 20 Oct 2012. Deep dark black, almost jet black with a full, thick, creamy head of tanned foam. The nose is coffee and liquorice mostly: but most dark chocolate malt esters could be found, the taste carries on in the same way, those chocolate malts just keep coming up with different flavours to excite your taste buds. A hop presence ensures it doesn’t just turn into a malty mess and the beer is balanced if a bit sweet initially in the taste. Very rare to find it in draught form I’m led to believe. 0.75 Litre bottles being the normal way of coming across it.

75 cl bottle @ vPBF
Aroma has coffee, cocoa and some licorice. Flavour is dry and somewhat fruity with well roasted malt, some coffee, salty licorice and vanilla. Too salty and burned but not bad still.
