Bottled. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, alcohol, roasted malt, caramel, and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, alcohol, roasted malt, citrusy hops, and burnt wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks Anders37 for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours an opaque black with a dense beige head leaving a neat lacework. Citrusy hops dominate the aroma and actually overpowers the dark roast. Medium body, lots of chocolate and licorice atop an ashy roastiness. Some warming alcohol in the finish, and a subdued bitterness. An Amarillo based Belgian Imperial Stout, now I’d be damned! 161211
