Tap at the brewery. Usual look of Kernel beers. Aroma is grainy, lemon citrus. Taste is very nice citrus hoppiness and also a bit creamy. Orangey and touch of biscuity malt. Very nice and easy drinking.

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Has abv of 5.5%. Pours near clear golden with thin white head, tiny hop particles floating around. Sweet toasted malts, exotic fruits, unripe melon, some typical dry pale ale yeastiness, herbal tea. Medium sweet, over medium bitter. Medium body, slick feel, low carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Almost clear golden with lots of tiny things floating around. Green melon, lemon, lime, mango, dank weeds, chalk, industrial honey, caramel, orange juice. It’s not that sweet but it’s a very sugary kind of sweetness balanced with under medium bitterness in a chalky way. Medium bodied with a light syrupy feel. Well done.

330ml bottle [5.5% abv]. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Taste is grassy hoppy, citrusy, zesty, leafy, close to tobacco, herbal and almost earthy, a woody touch of spruce. Taste is dry hoppy, mildly resinous and piney, some spruce, a citrusy touch, chewy, biscuity malty basis, some tangerine. No real explosion of hop flavours, but exposes the usually excellent Kernel APA malt basis and balanced hop flavour inclusion in a paradigmatic way.
