dark brown, almost black colour, moderate sized beige-ish head; aroma of cocoa powder, dark chocolate, ash, some dried plum and sour cherry, as well as peated notes; taste is the same with considerably less intensity; a bit watery, which is fully acceptable taking into account that it is "only" a dry stout

0,375l bottle at home bought from Firmabier (I think). Bottle says 130215, which I guess means bottled on. There was another label on the bottle which seems to have been torn off. black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells milky, earthy, light yoghurt, spices, some licorice, light parfumy. decent smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly sweet, some licorice, earthy, light yoghurt, spices. finishes lightly sweet with notes of licorice, some yoghurt and spices. still ok, but seems to be rather old.

Very dark mahogany with a generous long lasting khaki head that laces well. Nose of coffee and grassy hops with chocolate and some light dark candied fruit. Light sweet candy underneath a moderate bitter espresso and chocolate and light licorice. Medium+ creamy mouth with a quite dry finish. Decent and balanced.

Bottle at home. Black with fizzy light brown head. Dark chocolate, fresh roasted coffee beans, dried plums, light peach and herbs. Quite fruity with nice chocolate notes, and very light on the roasted character. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel. Very nice.

Medium, dense cream-beige head over pitch-black beer. Very nice & intriguing nose with stout features, aromatic herbs & flowers, rosewater, straw, immortelles, liquorice, roasted and sweet; Fascinating! Dry, roasted to burnt. Sweet and bitter(ish) chocolate. Roasted grains, black bread. Creamy MF, seemingly well-carbonated, but not very well-bodied, even slightly watery. Pleasing stout.

Draft - Nice roasty notes. Jet black with a rich brown head. Dark bitter sweet roast and a odd almost sweet bitter sour note. Dry finish, but not enough to roast in the flavour.
