17/IV/24 - on tap @ Trollekelder (Gent), BB: n/a (2024-240)
Clear orange blond beer, big solid creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: smells very very much like Augustijn if you ask me. Yeasty, coriander, banana and banana peel, fruity touch, sweet sugary impression, some diacetyl. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, some diacetyl, a little buttery, butterscotch, a little bitter. Aftertaste: lots and lots of banana, some banana peel, a little bitter, yeasty, some diacetyl, grains, sweet, lots of banana, meh, don’t like it.
