(Bottle, Hopfenreich, Berlin, 19 July 2015) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, wheaty nose with bread, grass and herbs. Malty, fruity taste with notes of bread, peaches, pears, hints of oysters and a slightly salty sourness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Interesting and quite different. Enjoyable.

Sampled from bottle @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Clear yellow golden color, small white head. Smell and taste slightly malts, hayish, yeast, slightly salt, slight touches of hops and fruit in the distance. Very subtle flavors.

0.5 l bottle from Vormann Brauerei, bottled in 2015. Clear, pale golden orange with a thin, soapy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-fruity aroma of honey, rhubarb, ripe apples, quince and orange marmelade. Sweetish, sourish-fruity taste of honey, rhubarb, quince, ripe apples and orange marmelade, followed by a short, sourish and slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, spritzy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. I don’t get any of the seaweed or oyster shells. However, quite harmonic and refreshing. Nice mix of sweetness and acidity. Solid.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, saltiness, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was salty, tart and bitter. A decent brew

Tap @ In de Wildeman at Carnivale 2015, small sample. Slight hazy color, short frothy head. Aroma is slight salty, mineral, slight spicy, bit grassy and grainy. Soft salty taste. Like Sebastian said: if you would be in Atlantis, this would be how the beer tasted. Thats basically the best description of the beer :-)

Draft at In De wildeman. Pours hazy orange with a ring bubbly off white head. Aroma of cardboard, caramel and malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. Boring, and not a gose.
