Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a hazy gold color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that had a decent lace after dissipation.
The aroma had some citrus sweet and bitter components, smooth sweet tropical glossing, clean malt, some bitter pine and a light floral pillowy smooth hoppiness.
The flavor was bittersweet and pulling the tropical and citrus tastes into the blend pretty nice. Aftertaste blended well between the malts and hops pretty clean. Finish was just a tad sticky but acceptable.
The palate was about medium bodied with a good sipping structure to it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt good.
Overall, thanks Blaine for the bottle! I’d have this again.

Bottle. Pours a light gold with a decent white head of froth that dies back to reveal a bit of lacing. Aromas of light citrus and a whiff of spruce are there, but pretty subtle for a DIPA. First sip reveals that this is a very nicely made Imperial IPA, but it also doesn’t have a lot of the punchy edginess that some of the very favorites in the field have. It’s a very well balanced but boasts an aggressive hops presence, however it doesn’t distinguish itself or make me go \"wow!\" It simply makes me smile and go back for a second when I’m done, and that is good enough for a Monday any day of the week!

Brewdog Soho. Keg. Almost clear gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Smooth sweetish malt with a really nice light creamy sweetness. Hops bring light and smooth skunk, pine, a little citric peel and tropical fruits. Smooth hop spicy finish also shows a touch of aniseed. Smooth and very drinkable.

Keg at BD Soho, 05/05/16. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a well appointed off White covering that retains well. Nose is sweet tropicana, pine resin, floral hop dance, candyfloss, pink grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, sweet malts, caramel, mango flesh, floral rinse, candied orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good dose of hops heading towards floralshire. Solid DIPA boost jus.

Keg at Brewdog Soho, London. A golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit, caramel aroma. Tastes quite similar, hoppy, tropical fruit, some light caramel, slight sweetness with a hint of honey in there. A gentle, easy drinking DIPA, very nice indeed.
