A sweet malty beer with lots of toffee & caramel notes from the pale and crystal malts. Fresh dry hop taste comes from the challenger and goldings which also give a satisfying easy drinking bitter finish.

Canette 440ml.

brownish-golden colour, not too much, though long lasting creamy white head; not too intensive aroma of bread any maybe some caramel; light taste of roasted sugar, malt and some hop, light carbonation; a bit watery beer, but quite drinkable

A copper amber ale with a thick lacing frothy nitro (widget) mocha head. In aroma, light caramel, berries, and light metallic notes. In mouth, a nutty malt with faint grassy hops, a tad cloying. Can from LCBO.

Draught, 3.5% at BBF12. Clear copper colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is dry at first, a little rough. Good flowery aroma hop note.

A deceptively good looking drink, a good head on a clear ruby body, but then let down by a metallic bitter first sip which carried on throughout a very watery pint.

Surprised to see this in a bar down at Bewdley while on a pub crawl Oct 2011. Took a half pint purely to review: Good amber body with a large, deep white head. The aromas given off were few, the beer being dispensed so cold, when it warmed some dark, malty fruity smells appeared. The taste was also on the malty side, pleasant without setting the world alight. I little on the fizzy side, like most keg bitters, but I still enjoyed this: the only non-cask ale I had during the crawl.
