Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, hops, toffee, red fruits, touch of tropical fruits and pine, with a slight hint of tobacco. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad Amber with some enjoyable hoppy notes amongst the malts.

Fine clear nutty pour with a lasting tan head. Good lacing down the sides of the glass. Ok intensity in the aroma. God balance between sweetness and bitterness. Pleasant carbonation level and fine lasting tail. Easy to drink. Toffee, bready, dried fruits and grapefruit hoppy flavor.

Fluffy white head stayed on a dark reddish brown hazy body. Minimal aroma of red berries, pine & spruce. Medium to thin bodied, tingly on palate and a thick cloying back. Pine, zest, spice, caramel, bitter pith, citrus & herb tastes.

Van de tap in Bret, Sloterdijk. Mooie bruinrode kleur, beige schuim. Lekkere bittere smaak, ook lange nasmaak. Prima.

Clear amber brown colour, tall and thick creamy off-white to beige head, recedes slowly with a cone in the middle, good lacing. Aroma toasted malts, red fruits, fruit candy, caramel. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, fruity, bit salty, hint of retronasal smoke. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, light milk chocolate notes, bit dusty, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Interesting red ale but lacks a bit of direction.

0.33 l bottle at ’Generator’ (Amsterdam). Clear, very dark red with a medium large, fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, nuts and hints of red fruits. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a little roasty taste of caramel, nuts, red fruits and some coffee, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little roasty finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
