Bottle @ home. Thanks Roel Buckens for letting me have one of the last available bottles! Nice typical barley wine style dark red color, average sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, caramel, a sweetness that reminds me of brown candy sugar. Taste malts, brown malts, sweet, caramel, lightly some alcohol. Medium body, some sticky sweetness, soft carbonation. Quite nice.

Bottle shared thanks to the Podje Bier guys. Pours hazy brown with a few bubbles. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, light coffee, caramel, toffee and dark malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium bodied with unfortunately pretty flat carbonation.

Dark brown colour with creamy head. Sweet malts and light fruity hop in the aroma. Flavour is quite sweet and fruity at first but there’s an interesting bit of cocoa powder in the aftertaste.
