Pintle is a pale ale brewed with wheat, oats with an addition of flaked barley in the grist to smooth out the body. Whirlpooled and dry hopped with Australian Cascade and Citra, its restrained bitterness and dry finish help maintain Pintle’s all day crushability

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden amber and hazy. Neat head. Nose - oh that's interesting. Something smoky nut also citrus. Metallic too. Taste - light sweat but mostly apricot and orange. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. A bit short on the finish if I can be critical. Overall - good.

Can from Fresh Fields Market, Croydon. It pours hazy yellow - gold wit ha thick foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, grapefruit, lemon, lemongrass, lemonade, bit piney, grassy and some bread. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, lemon - lime, grapefruit, piney, grass, lemongrass and a touch of pepper wit ha firmly dry finish. Lighter side of medium body and moderate carbonation. Refreshing, rounded and very drinkable. What's not to like?

PD 22/02/18. Not super fresh, but still very bright and juicy. Good body, some oats, lovely soft mouthfeel. Citra and cascade bring fruityness, but with a tiny bite of bitterness. Very easy drinking, lovely light beer with my pizza.
