A Mil Máscaras of flavour. This Imperial stout will wrestle your taste buds to the canvas in a Tag Team of insane sensory assault. Coffee, chocolate and alittle spice on the nose. Dark chocolate mixes with mocha, vanilla and spice, all layered over a smooth nitro-styling you never saw coming. This set-up finishes with a delicate habanero drop kick as the bell sounds.

Sample at BrewDog DogTap. Jet black pour with some brown around the edges and a medium thick creamy tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and cinnamon. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, cocoa, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. The finish is roasty with a malt and cinnamon aftertaste. Above average overall.

9.6 ounce nitro can into tulip glass, canned on 10/30/2018. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense, creamy, cascading khaki head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick creamy lacing clings on the glass. Amazing appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, habanero pepper, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of toffee, vanilla, molasses, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, peppers, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, habanero pepper, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark/brown bread; with lighter notes of toffee, vanilla, molasses, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, roasted bitterness; and cinnamon/pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, medium roast coffee, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, habanero pepper, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark/brown bread, smoke, dark fruit, herbal, grass, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, peppers, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet and cinnamon/pepper spiciness balance; with no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Light carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.2%. Mild increasing pepper heat through the glass. Overall this is an incredible imperial Mexican spiced stout. All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malts, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, peppers, and light fruity yeast/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish; amazingly silky/soft nitro finish. Perfect balance between rich malts, cocoa, cinnamon, fruity/nutty coffee, and pepper flavors; with mild earthy hops and fruity yeast. Not overly sweet/heavy from lingering bitter/spicy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and amazing style example. Not overwhelming on any aspect.

As Get Out Claus. Pours pitch black, topped with medium small beige head, not so lasting. Medium chocolate nose with some roasty notes. A bit later on some spicy notes develop, some vanilla as well. Creamy silky body. Mild sweetness, chocolatey with some chili heat, but not too strong. A bit of alcohol warmth. Not the best one, but still nice.

Brewed at BrewDog USA & imported to UK. Very tight creamy beige head stayed all the way on a jet black still body - looks tremendous! Malt, dark sugar & spice aroma. Full bodied, incredibly smooth with a creamy slow back. Sweet berry, malt, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, berry & spice tastes with punchy chilli finish. Outstanding! Earlier Rating: 2/9/2018 Total Score: 4 Nitro can from #Fanzine. Thick creamy light brown head stayed on a jet black still body - looks tremendous! Minimal aroma of dark chocolate & demerara. 330 ml bottle, as BrewDog Get Out Claus, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 8.2%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, chocolate and chili. The medium sweet flavour has the same elements, with a fairly distinct chili burn. Moderate hops. Good beer.
