Aroma of dark malts, some coffee, rye bread, fruity notes, roast, hint of chocolate, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Rather mild but good BIPA, another solid beer from Pampus.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Bitter roasty and bitter hoppy aroma, grassy, herbal, piney and resinous hop notes, hints of pineapple, widely disguised dark malty background. Taste is roasty dark malty, coffee notes, piney, herbal and grassy hoppy overtones, pineapple again; watery interludes, prickling carbonation.

Bottle split at Mother Arch, big thanks to Rob, 21/03/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is earthy hops, light pine, mineral wash, earthy cocoa, light charr effect. Taste comprises pine needle, bitter tropicana, charr, light roast, toffee, bitter chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop bitterness in the close. Decent CDA.
