Side Trail Series — Juiced in Time is a New England-style IPA that's absolutely dripping with ripe tropical fruit and bold juicy citrus flavors. Wheat and oats were added to the malt profile along with a special mineral treatment to the water to create body and smooth texture. Virtually all the hops were reserved for after the boil to minimize bitterness and amplify flavor and aroma. From the glowing orange appearance to the soft creamy mouthfeel and delicate sweetness, this beer is

Pours hazy gold. The aroma is of hop resin with some citrus. Flavor is led by resinous hops. There’s citrus underlying it and some malty sweetness. It’s medium bodied and alright, a pretty average hazy.

Kind of a run-of-the-mill, decent, juicy IPA. Leans slightly sweet but very drinkable. A touch medicinal in the finish.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish orange gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Caramel malt, overripe orange and pine aromas on the nose. Pine, overripe orange and citrus on the palate. Piney and bitter finish with some pithy astringency. Classic midwest IPA...nothing about this is even remotely juicy or New England-like.

Pours rather unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is typical, old school USA IPA. Bit pine, fruity, dank. Taste is full, bit bitter, very malty ( sweet ) , mild pine, dank. Nice IPA but how the hell do they think they made a NEIPA with this ???

(473ml can from Glasbanken) Pours nearly clear medium gold with a small white head. Aroma of overripe tropical fruit, melon, peach, orange and grapefruit, some slightly earthy dank piney green notes, bit of biscuit, smells pretty decent. Flavour is quite sweet pale malt, honey, elderflower cordial, pineapple, some tropical mix, grapefruit peel, pine needle, slight dank, finishing off dry and above moderately bitter, herbal, floral. Average body and carbonation. Odd, this definitely isn't an NEIPA, it's much more west coast. I kind of like the strange appearance of elderflower, but on the whole it's just okay.
