Can. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Slightly soft malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Good piney hops. Modest Mosaic tropical fruits and light citrus peel. A little spicy bitterness on the finish. Pretty smooth and drinkable if not as Mosaic as one would hope. Think that might be more about the patchy nature of Mosaic hops these days than anything the brewers didn't do. Nice beer nontheless.

Draught at 5 Horse Somerville, 5/15/16.
Mildly hazy, bright orange-copper body is topped by a small amount of white head showing moderate retention.
Nose is initially very dense and full of dank, spicy notes, but plentiful red and yellow fruits. With warming and breathing, significant grapefruit, light pineapple and tons of lime emerges, though there’s some sour-ish resin on the end that’s not overly appealing. Malts reveal a bit of caramel and light bread but are otherwise fairly relaxed. Maybe a hint of alcohol.
The flavor shows plenty of juiciness; pineapple, cherry, mango but big, bready, sourdough-like notes emerge, a combination of malt and pine-like resin. Some alcohol apparent, sapping the texture, which is lightly slick and not all that softly-malted (very low carbonation). The juiciness is nice, but it’s no match for the pine/grapefruit and heavy breadiness. Not a great intro to this brewery....
