Bottled. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, brettanomyces, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, alcohol, wood, and grapes, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle - Wood, cherry and a bit of appropriate acetone. Cloudy amber with a thin beige head. Slight tart bite up front, cherry, oak and a bit of a sweet tart finish. Smells much better than the taste.

Bottle pour at the Brouwers event. Pours cola like brown with a very nice sour front aroma. So many sour flavors here. Cherry, grape, and a little apple. This is an incredible beer. Great stuff.

Dark plum appearance. Mild head. Smell is fantastic. So cognac and liquor sweetness. Grapey and prune and toffee. Super grape forward. Fig and plum with sugar cane Splenda and some banana runt. The liquor cognac is really easy to pick out. So nice in the finish

Bottle. Pours clear ruby mahogany - beautiful. Small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly with good lacing in its wake. Aroma is very vinous, red wine, some Brett, oak, lemons, tart cherries. Flavor is initially lightly sweet, drying out quickly to a light tartness with just a touch of funk. Lots of oaky, vinous notes - I would swear this was a red wine and not a cognac treatment. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Very very nice beer.

750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brown with a transient tan head. Aroma is rather funky in a strange way. Made me think of old ditto machine liquid. Med body. It is strikingly sour at first. Seems to be a bit "solvent". Maunders on to dark berry, and oak. Maybe the berry isn’t so dark, and maybe that reflects the cognac. It quickly mellows out (taste fatigue no doubt) to lightly funky, moderately sour, astringently oaky. Very, very tasty all in all.

Nice cherry bretta lambic tasting thing. Finishes with a nice sour bite with lots of bretta and some sweetness from cherry. Cherry is pretty substantial here actually. Pours red with good head and lacing. Bottle at Churchkey thanks to Radagast, Travlr or Jack or someone. Great!
