Szép nagy, tömör és tartós, tejeskávé színű habja van. Kicsit barnás, fekete színű. Illata feketekávés, kissé savanykás, fűszeres. Íze kávés, picit savanykás, enyhe komlós fűszeresség. Csak halványan kesernyés. Utóíze kesernyés, egy picit savanykás, és nem túl hosszú. Nem túl markáns ízvilágú sör. Közepesen telt. Könnyen csúszik, jó szomjoltó. Nem egy világklasszis, de korrekt sör.

$1.90 Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours very very dark brown, almost black, with a large frothy beige head. Aroma is very light but inoffensive. Taste is a refreshing, slightly sweet raisin, light coffee, oatmeal blend. Finishes slightly sweet... this is totally drinkable, and I’d be happy drinking this all night, but it’s not a knockout.

Dark black with a little bronze touch and minimal brown head. Aroma is much roast licorice (not aggressive) and dark chocoloate. Taste is well rounded bitterness, but an awkward sourness on top. Mouthfeel is just a tiny bit frothy.Medium finish, full body. Overall nice. Could be somewhat smoother though.

Pours thick black with medium beige head that leaves some lacing. Smell of roasted malts and caramel. Medium to full body with average carbonation. Thick and smooth texture. Bittersweet taste with very pleasant aroma of roasted malts, caramel, toffee and dark fruits. Some slightly metallic notes towards the end spoil this one a bit, but overall it’s not that big of a deal. Not bad, would definitely drink this one again.

Butelka 330ml (01.09.2016). Piwo klarowne o brunatnej, opalizującej barwie. Piana beżowa, obfita, niestety szybko znika i po chwili pozostaje tylko cienka warstwa, która niespecjalnie zdobi szkło. Aromat "lagerowy" choć trochę wyprany z nutami ciemnych słodów ale w bardzo subtelnym wydaniu. W smaku ciemne słody wyczuwalne wyraźnie, goryczka niska. Piwo jest lekkie, nawet w stronę wodnistego, brak mu ciała i charakteru. Ogólnie taki przecięty szwarzbier, niczym się nie wyróżnia choć też niczym nie pogrąża, da się wypić.

Smell of roasted malt, a faint of tar. Very dark brown colour, mid-brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, rubber, some ashy/smoky notes. Medium bitter. Flat but rather plentiful carbon. Half-dry palate. A basic schwarz, with some Guinness like character.

Can pour into nonic glass from Epsom Circle Market. Aroma is bready, toasted malt with a bit of yeasty sour bordering on bile. Appearance is dark mahogany with two finger-width foamy light brown head with fair retention and sticky foam lacing. Taste is light malty sweetness with roasted quality, mild bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with somewhat creamy texture (especially if you get some of the foamy head), lively carbonation (a bit too much--stings the lips and takes away from the otherwise creamy, mellow mouth feel), dry slightly bitter finish. Overall, this is OK without any real standout qualities but no glaring faults either.
