24 September 2025. At Bitburger Bierhaus Bad Münstereifel. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head.
A: roasted malt, toast, coffee cream, iron.
T: sweetish brambleberry, toast, cream, chestnut.
F: herbal hops, earth, toast, a bit metallic.
P: light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation.
Just a bit too metallic, otherwise very nicely restrainedly roasty.

Bottle/can. Shockingly this is a mass-market cheapie in Germany as far as I can tell. But man it is a good example of the style Dark brown/black w/medium head. Chocolatey/coffee taste. not too heavy either.

Bottle. Nice, deep dark color with good head and lace. Roasted, toast flavor. Malted, nutty aroma. Liked this one really well.
