50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep orange/redish with with a huge off-white head. Swet fruity, light yeasty and vague milky aroma. Sweet malt flavoured with a distinct yeast presence, subdued smoke note. Vaguely spiced too. Somewhat citric and fruity into the finish. Very subdued metallic touch. Nicely lasting fruity touch into the finish alongside a mild phenolic note. Nice one.

Tap @ BBF ’08. Clear dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of smoke, wood, some blue cheese. Flavour is smoky, bitter, a bit of caramel, like a German bock. Rather fullbodied. Very nice.

Bottle, 6.5% ABV. (RBNAG 07) The aroma, which isn’t bad at all, somehow reminds me of a meal of German sausages and sauerkraut. It’s quite sweetish, but there’s a little touch of cooked cabbage lasting all the way to the very end. There’s also a little roast and beef-stock maltyness in the flavor. Full body. Sure drinkable and sure unusual. (071103)

500ml bottle (6,5%ABV) @ RBNAG’07. Body is clear amber with a thin beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, brown sugar and some alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet, malty with some caramel and a decent bitterness. Medium body and a well balanced beer, not so unusually as indicated on the label.

Bottled. Deep ambery/copper colour with mediumsized brownish beige head. Aroma is caramel, some smoked wood, roasted malts and a bit saltwatery feeling to it. Kind of Schlenkerla meets a fullquality pils aroma. Flavour is smoked wood, some sweet caramel malts, a bit spices and also saltwater. A really, really, pleasant "smoked bock".
