Keg at Epicura, Coimbra. A really nice Belgian ale. Somewhat sweet but not overly so and not too boozy either while still delivering a good thump. Suprisingly good!

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 24B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L2007 (BBF 07/21). AROMA: medium to medium-low malty-sweet aroma with a toffee and slight under attenuated notes. low lacquer background and low cereal husk. APPEARANCE: light amber color and clear. medium off-white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: medium sweetness with a toffee and under attenuated character. low yeasty flavor. faint yeasty background.. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: an underwhelming belgian ale.

Draught, half pint. @Β«Brew Coimbra 2019Β», Coimbra (Portugal). 13/09/2019. Slightly hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is yeadty and malty. Taste is also yeasty, leading to a soft biscuit finish. Next one please!
