Boyne Brewhouse IPA is a slightly hazy deep golden colour with abundant fruity citrus aroma with a hint of pine. On the palate there is bitter citrus and resin. This is a big bodied beer that can stand up to the hops with a long dry finish.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera L'intensità olfattiva elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. La parte liquida si presenta velata e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di amaro. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi e pompelmo.

Bottle, 0.5l. Cloudy copper pour, one finger frothy white head, medium lasting. Good retention, nice lacing on the glass. Sweetish, herbal nose with fruity and floral notes. Medium body, soft carbonation, moderately fizzy. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, chewy. Bitter taste with subtle malt sweetness in the background. Aroma of citruses, grassy hops, herbs and spices. Caramel malt, hints of honey. Floral notes,Lingering spiciness, subtle alcohol burn on the tongue. Dry. Medium lasting finish, lingering bitterness. Pretty good.

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, zest, orange, leaves, caramel, nuts, bread. Quite smooth, slightly tart, then turning slightly sweet and finally bitter! Zest, grass, leaves, alcohol bite from who knows where, lasting bitter finish, sightly harsh. Not bad, somewhat unbalanced.

Bottle. Hazy orange, off white head. Orange, honey, light oxidation. Orange and honey notes, brittle, interesting, soft, some alcohol, heavier bitterness. Huh, a bit gone, worth a rerate at some point.
