Bottled 750ml. -from Bieres Cultes, Paris. Some 6 weeks after BBE date passed. Slight hazy dark amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, spicy fruity nose. Moderate malty, acidic spicy fruity and light alcoholic taste. Alcohol and caramel in rather acidic finish. Infected or not??? Funny label.

Smell of lambic. Colour of the mud of Aura. Highly bitter and a bit sour. Smells also like apple cider, also the first taste resembles that.

A caremlized, sweet aroma from the start turns to a light sour followed by light bitters. Some cherry tone in there somewhere. A decent taste that runs through a full palette. Had a 330ml bottle from Castro’s Lounge, although they only have a few of these left.

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky dark brown color with a medium sized seltzer tan head that faded very quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faintly tart and vaguely spicy with touches of port wine and cherry. The flavor was tart and very bitter with light cherry, molasses and nut. The finish was long, tart and bitter. Light to medium body. Eh.

Pretty decent but average beer. Lacked a bit in mouthfeel, everything else was okay.

33cl Bottle bought in Florenville, as Cochonnette. Murky dark amber colour, big foamy off white head. Exploded out of the bottle. Aroma of ripe dark fruits like plums, raisins, like oxidized wine, a bit sherry or cognac like, alcohol, light spicy. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, ripe dark fruits, light oxidized flavour, vinous, spicy, alcohol, fruity bitter finish. Medium to fullbodied. Very tasty.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a beige and dense foamy head. Mildly caramel-malty aroma with pronounced fruity notes of citrus, grapes, zests and a delicate touch of barnyard. Moderately sweet and sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly sweet (cara-)malty and sour-fruity taste with a tinge of spices; dry and moderately sour-fruity finish with woody accents. 29.V.11
