bottle, pours amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is fruity and sour smelling. Lemon, cherry, and peach skin. Not very malty, or bitter, but fruity, sour and spicy. Fig and apple, some wood character and a alcohol burn and spiced finish. Not bad.

Bottle labeled as Pipaix Cochonette Petite Vapeur Cochonne thanks to ilovedarkbeer. Pours with a small, off-white head over a murky orange body. Aroma funky and meaty, with prime rib (smells like walking in to Lawerys), citrus and champagne. Taste is sweet and meaty with vinegar and coriander. Probably and old bottle. Nearly still carbonation. Not too pleasant.

750mL bottle 1996 bottle. I have had other much younger vintages which I loved but this rating is for this one bottle. It pours an amber-orange color that one cannot see through it. Aroma is very, very cork-y, which definitely dates the beer but not off-putting for me. Taste is better though, the yeast has turned nicely sour. This is something I have noticed that the Vapeur yeast seems to do with time. Its an apricot, light vinegar kind of yeast sour. Has a light dry finish. I really liked this and definitely more so than any of the aged Saison de Pipaix that I have tried. I am also surprised at the strength of this beer, never comes out (aged or fresh).

Cloudy amber with with medium beige head. Sourish aroma with woody notes. Flavour likewise with lcato pressence and woody notes. Finished sour.

Little Miss Piggy. Bartender recommendation at delirium in Brussels. Dark, sweet, with some hops shining through at the end.

Pour is a dark red with a large tan head. Aroma at first was a little skunky thanks the the green bottle but things changed quickly. Lots of sour fruit followed with some spice and funk. Flavor is again super sour fruit with a large spice with a heavy breadyness. Finish has some barnyard-horseblanket or whatever you call it funk. This is a very good beer at a decent price and something to look for.

Dark amber-colored beer, with a huge amount of floaties, and a fizzy head that disappears fast - lots of oxidation in the aroma, with mild acidity and fruit skin tannins, and underlying sweet raisin, cherry, caramel, baked apples - fairly earthy, tart, and acidic up front, with some wine-like character - this is followed by sweeter flavors of caramel, raisin, orange peel, mild spices - there is an over ripe apple quality that combines well with the acidity - the alcohol is completely masked - dries out again in the finish, and there is some light barnyard funk in the background - I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to taste like this, but whatever infected this bottle makes it work pretty well.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a lacing off-white head. Woody, malty and light brett-ish dry aroma. Flavour is caramel malt, yeasty spiced and with a mild brett acidic/citric note. Dry almost woody into the finish. Lingering yeasty fruity finish, light spiced as well.

Vintage as Cochonette:BB 07, bottle at Plan-B, Copenhagen: Pours cloudy amber with a red hew & off white head. Aroma is very speciel - so fresh of fruity lemin/citrus/orange & a touch of pepper. Low & soft carbonation. Round & mild - yet warmth from alcohol. Very delicious & drinkable!

Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of sweet malt with some funky notes which don’t balance well with the malt. Taste is also dominated by some nice medium sweet Belgian malt notes with a weird funky finish which I can’t say for sure that I really enjoy. Full body with limited filtration and some great carbonation. Interesting but not sure I would go for this very often.
