Pours hazy dark amber with a creamy off-white head. This has an aroma of sweet and rotting apples, Belgian yeast, spice. Sweet and fruity with a zesty tang in the finish. Almost a Belgian style ale with a shot of cider added. Light bodied and spritzy. Easy drinker and a bit different.

330ml bottle. Hazy amber colour with a big, off-white head. Sweet citrus and spice aroma. Flavour had honey, yeast and tropical fruits. A bit strange but ok.

Thanks Mabel for sharing! Touch of floral and spicy aroma. Lingering caramel, sweet and sour but focused on sweet - its just a kiss of tartness. A touch of date like fruitiness. Caramel color.

Pours bright dark amber into a Tulip. Off-white micro head with medium retention leaves spotty sheets as it recedes to skim surface. Alcohol and spiced citrus aromas. Smooth with sour pit fruit upfront, slightly syrupy in the middle and a lasting orange aspirin finish.

Bottle as Cochonnette. Interesting aroma of dark malts, citrus fruit and spice. Hazy amber color with a struggling white head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Corriander. Chicory? Something darkly veg. The heat is noticeable, but doesn’t interfere. There is brown sugar, not much hop. Very complicated. Hard to sort out flavors. Very good. The finish is caramel sweet with a citrus sour aspect, something approaching coffee, not getting any real hop bitter.

Bottle: Poured a reddish brown color with lots of carbonated bubbles that lead to a thick bubbly off white head. Aroma is a bit acidic due to oranges. The taste was however chocolate malt with a slight acidic finish on the tongue. Very nice dry finish.

Bottle. Cloudy amber / orange color with a large fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is grape, orange, coriander, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic.

The bottle is corked and it pours a clear amber with very little off white head. The aroma is not of hops but almost like a white wine. The taste is fruity, grapes and pears, and the spices come right through. The finish is acidic and flat. The heavy alcohol can be felt after the confused flavor wears off. This has been one of my least favorite beers, pass on this next time you’re in the specialty store.

Bottle. Chestnut colour, sparse head. Maybe I got a bad bottle of this. Sweetish brown ale, don’t think much of the label either. Lots of toffee and yeast. Slightly unpleasant finish. Too sweet for me and the finish has some kind of artificial chemical/plastic taste. I had to pou r the rest down the sink

Bottle. Dark amber brown with a thin off-white head. Big toffee/caramel/sweet malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with toffee and light spices. LInfering malt. Lots of sweet toffee.
