Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of cola and nuts. Taste is more of the same. Nutty finish.

I've had some pretty poor attempts at Brown Ales recently, but this isn't one of those. Showcases the style perfectly, surprisingly quaffable for 5.1%

Cask, third pint. Tasted on the 20/04/2019 at Port Street Beer House, Manchester (England). Bright brown colour with a dispersed tan head. Poor retention. Aroma is macchiato, nuts and roasted malts. Taste is coffee beans, machiatto and hazelnuts leading to a slightly watery coffee finish. Next one please!

Cask @ Brink, Manchester. Slightly hazed reddish-brown with a thick creamy head. Has a milky dark malt character with an underlying roasted maltiness and a light chocolate sweetness.
