Soaring through the air with grace and fury, the Luchador descends. The multi-limbed warrior carries an elegance in the efficient manner with which he dispatches his foes. Plenty of action, style, and glory await you in this Mexican-Style Chocolate Stout. Sweet flavors blossom from additions of vanilla and cinnamon, while a spicy body gets it’s kick from ancho chile powder. Dark malt flavors provide a robust palette upon which one may don the Chocolate Sombrero.

Believe this is a 2024 bottle got in a trade. Brownish black with a thin ring of foam. Cocoa and cinnamon in the nose, possibly some panela sugar. Taste is a little low on malt roastiness, but has a nice chocolate thread. A slight lactic sourness, and added chile plus a smaller thread of vanilla.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, mild chili, cocoa, dark fruits, prunes, plenty of liquorice in the finish, touch of roasty coffee and soy sauce. Flavour is medium sweet and light to moderate bitter with some chili burn in the throat. Flavour is medium to full. A bit heavier on the liquorice than I’d expected. Not top tier Imperial Stout but good, nice vanilla chocolate and subtle chili notes.

It's too strong for the backer. Too chemical.

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, vanilla, some alcohol and mild ripe fruits. Flavour is ripe fruits, alcohol, some chocolate, toffee and mild toasted and liquorice notes to it. Quite warming feeling.

The aromas are dark malt, coco a, a bit roast and a bit spice with hints of floral. Flavors are like nose, mildly sweet up front and balanced with carbonation and light bitterness.no idea what the additional Mexican flavors are supposed to be. Decent enough beer but nothing special.

Definitely chocolatey but I didn’t get any chili or spice. Not saying I want my money back but I am saying these mofos should care more about their beer.
