Multiple paper cups of this at some insane grocery store with the famous Kyoto man himself, Mark. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. Toast, bready, semi-sweet. Soft perfume. Decent.

Om tap at gonpachi. Pale Golden color creamy White head disappearing bit lacing. Mild grainy aroma adjuncts and light hops. Average pilsener

Bottle, 500 ml at Red Hill Bar, Takayama. Pours golden, white head. Malty, grainy, sweetish with light bitterness in finish. Light to medium bodied. Had worse.

500mL bottle pour from Neon Forest Museum Bar in Kyoto. Light golden yellow with white head. Cereal malt, light hops, a little corn and skunk.

Had this at Haneda. Golden, big head, has pale malt and mellow hop on the nose, similar palate. Good, balanced, sweetish macrobrew.

Tap, very cold. Yellow gold with a white head. Aroma is grainy, but it’s a bit bready without being immensely sweet. Has enough body to stand up to Japanese pub grub without seeming too thin but really doesn’t do much of itself. Some bitterness at the end. OK.

Bottle at restaurant, Osaka. Golden color, small steady white head. Sweet malty, a bit cardboardish aroma. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. A harsh malty flavor. A bit papery taste with light fruity note. Quite typical macro beer.
