(Re-rating) Review based on personal opinions (ale style unknown). Bottle 50 cl - Batch L59/2014LR. AROMA: sour aroma with notes of stable and barn, consistent of fermentation by wild yeast and/or bacteria. no hop aromas or malt aromas that stand out. APPEARANCE: deep gold to orange and opaque. creamy ivory head with poor retention. TASTE: slight acidic flavour with notes similar to the aroma. acid derived bitterness at the end of the tasting. PALATE: almost thin body consistent with extreme attenuation. average carbonation. OVERALL: the re-tasting of this batch is similar to the one made in October 2014. An odd beer with characteristics that are consistent with wild yeast/bacteria contamination (if not on purpose since the beer style is not known).

Bottled 500ml. -from some local souvenir shop in Lisboa. Hazy orange/golden coloured, small white head, some sourness in the nose. Moderate malty, yeasty, light spicy and fruity with notes of caramel in the finish. Not so good and for sure this isn’t a dunkel. Or maybe infected one but all three Vadia beers I’ve tried had some similar acidic notes.

Tasted on ArtBeerFest Caminha 2013. The palate is nice and deep. A little sweet. Nice colour on tap.

[Thanks to andregoncalves]. Bottled. Best Before Nov-12. First of all, I don’t think that this beer is a Dunkel, it seems to be a Sour Ale, but I’m not sure because it’s expired... Any way. Cloudy orange colour with a good formation of a white head, very carbonated. Aroma is yeast, citrus, orange and metallic. Flavor is sour, light notes of vinegar, fruity. Dry and acid final. I’d like to try again...
