It’s the final and most intense day of a five-day test match between the West Indies and England and tensions are high – four runs to go with two balls remaining. This is the West Indies last chance to win – a nail-biter.
The entire Oval falls silent as our batsmen assume their positions in front of their wickets. You need something to quench your nerves and your thirst so you feverishly search for a Carib in your cooler buried deep in the ice – nothing is better than a cold, cold, Carib. As you begin to drink, the bowler gallops down the pitch, throws the ball and up it goes! All eyes dart to the umpire whose two index fingers slowly reach for the skies as thousands of fans jump to their feet– six runs and the West Indies have done it again!
Since 1950, Carib has been a bona fide thirst-quencher and a symbol for everything quintessentially ‘Caribbean’ – energy and warmth that are briefly tempered by a cool sea breeze. It is a balanced, full-bodied and distinctively smooth lager that takes ‘refreshing’ to another level. The revitalizing appeal of this continental-style brew has made it an instant and permanent favourite and the first choice for any occasion.
Specifications:
Alcohol by Volume: 5.1-5.4%

Bottle at Peterbborough Beer Festival 2018. Pours clear golden, white head. Aroma & taste of pale malts, corn, light sweet, watery. Light body, carb was fine. Country tick. Probaby better bone chillingly cold in 35C sunshine but pretty inoffensive really

Refrigerated small format clear bottle after a long day from the bottle. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma is light grain, medium body, lower carbonation, and some lacing. Taste is pretty nice malt. This is not bad for what it is.

02.06.2018 -- 0.33l bottle from rewe in lörrach, 2.59€, bb 18.08.2018. pours a clear pale golden with a quickly disappearing head. aroma of wet grains, sweetish malts, very much like a non-alcoholic brew. flavour of grass, citrus, parsley, rice, wet cardboard. the taste is marginally better than the nose, at least it is not too sweet and has a hint of sourness and bitterness in the finish. for some reason it is slightly astringent, too. thanks rewe for introducing me to bad beer from across the globe.

Enjoyed a Carib a few years back on a previous visit to St. Kitts, time to try again thank you very much. I will say that the label is inviting. Consumed from a 275 ml bottle, no appropriate glassware available. Hardly any smell to it, perhaps some grain. A good long drink on a warm afternoon, a taste of rice for some reason, barley maybe, lots of water. This brew will benefit from being served ice cold. Very sessionable.

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before August 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains and some straw. Moderately sweet, minimally bitter, slightly grassy taste of grains, some honey, a bit of straw and a touch of cardboard, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy and a bit papery finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very bland, watery Lager.
