Draft at the source. Clear amber pour with a light beige head. Roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, peat notes. Good.

12 oz can, thanks wife! Aroma is chocolate, caramel, dark bread. Pours hazy dark brown with red highlights and a one finger beige head that falls into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is moderately sweet with some light herbal hop bitterness balancing it out. Pretty tasty.

On tap at the brewery pours out a cola brown color topped sand head. Nose is roast malts light ash and a touch of smoke. Taste is more of the roast malts a little ash and some wood nutty notes.

OnTap at the Boise Brewery/Taproom Deep brown with a nice dense tan head. Good light roast and earthy malts. Not very peaty and lacked some of that distinctive Scotch character. Nice smooth malty beer though.

Taster at the brewery. Dark mahogany, clear. Aroma us earthy, peaty. Taste is dry, woody, earthy. Seems thin, but pretty decent.
