Wittekerke Wit is easy to recognize by the elegant glass it is served in, its sunny colour and creamy foam head. The taste is nicely rounded with a well-defined herbal bitterness. The late famous beer expert Michael Jackson described Wittekerke Wit as creamy, aromatic, with a clean, teasing, perfumed fruitiness and a faintly herbal tartness.

Bottle - Sweet citrus, honey and hay. Pale yellow with a thin white head. Hay and citrus, with a bit of a bite that fades quickly. A decent refreshing Wit, but a bit overpriced for what is available in the market.

12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy yellow with about a finger of white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, citrus and some clove and banana. Taste is about the same. Light bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. I would drink it again but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Pours a light yellow golden with almost no head. Faint taste of orange peel. Light and smooth, but too light. Besides the orange peel, taste is almost an afterthought. A nice summer drink...

Fles 33cl thuis. Prima witbier, fris, geen overheersende tarwesmaak, wel wat vlak. (4-2012).

330 mL can. Pours pale, murky, yellowish-white. The aroma is rice, wheat, and a thin note of lemons. The flavor is faint sweetness, and not much else. The palate is light, watery, and clean. Overall, this is flavorless and odorless. I may as well be drinking lemon water.

Pretty average Belgian white beer. Appearance is ok, smell a bit musty and dull, taste ok, carbo and body low. I’ve had a lot better.

Not the best witbier i’ve had. Lacks a bit in smell and taste. Scores a bit below par for a witbier.
