Smoked Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels. How the significant amount of “Ashtray Heart” found its way to the brisk bourbon barrels is to this day an unsolved mystery. Nevertheless, let’s not twist our minds with bizarre details when this beer is ridiculously choice and overwhelmingly corpulent.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a pitch black with a rough beige head. Lovely whisky aroma, not profoundly Bourbon though, with a subtle roastiness. Medium body, low carbonation, subtle roast, some dark dried fruits and again some whisky notes. There’s a whiff of coffee in there to. Subtle finish, not overly bitter or roasty. Very pleasant and drinkable. 260911

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted and chocolate malty. Thick malty, dark malty, light liqourice. Subdued smoked. Thick malty and smooth vanilla bourbon. Bitter, alcohol tickling and dark thick malty finish.
