Our traditional Pilsner is the result of a continued, iterative focus on lager brewing. This fine-tuned, German-influenced recipe features classic lager yeast, a grain bill of primarily Bohemian floor-malted pilsner malt, plus Hallertau Magnum and Saaz hops and extended lagering in our horizontal tanks.
Pilsner pours a glimmering straw color with a fluffy white head. Aromas of whole grain bread crust and a touch of satisfying malt character hit the nose. These flavors follow on the palate, with a balanced sweetness and subtle, noble hop bite. A crisp finish keeps this medium bodied beer refreshing and easy to drink.

16 ounce can from Laurentiβ ShopRite Liquors in Mercerville. Medium gold pour. Large pillowy white head. Fresh clean malt aroma has herbal notes. Flavor has biscuity, herbal notes. A bit grainy in middle. Some peppery notes as well. Nicely structured and fairly well attenuated. Finishes dry and bitter.

Draft at Paragon, 1/30/26. Clear gold, white head, streaky lace. Strongly grassy, clippings and all, plenty of pine, resin, and some grapefruit. Bready finish. Grainy notes. A little dry, very flavorful. Good stuff.

Fresh can from the brewery. It pours crystal clear yellow - gold with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, doughy, farmhouse style bread, cracker, mellow sweetness, muffin, grass and grain. The taste is crisp, dry, pleasant bitterness, clean, grassy, dull herbal vibes, floral, straw, hay, bready malts, cracker, peppery spice and a touch of minerality. Finish is lingering grassy dryness. Average body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. Well realised. A nice example of the style.

Taster pour on tap at the Canton brewery. Appearance is clear yellow with no sparkle, cap of white head with nice lacing. Aroma is strong, classic Pilsner malts with cardboard leanings. Taste is strong, rich cracker/bread (like a Wheat Thin), earthy. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a pretty classic pilsner but is stronger and richer than most.
