Draft at CBC. Hazy reddish pour with a small tan head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, grapefruit and malt. Flavour is fairly malty, Lught hops and red berries. Medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Sample from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky dark brown color with lots of floaters and a large creamy orange-tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet pineapple, pine, grapefruit, lemon and orange. The flavor was bitter with moderate sour caramel, strong pineapple and pine and light notes of grapefruit, orange and lemon. The finish was long and hoppy. Fairly full bodied. Nice.

22oz bottle-thanks Patrick-pours hazy amber/brown with a tan head. Aroma is resin/pine/tropical, medium malt. Taste is resin/pine/tropical hops with some bite, sweet medium malt.

Bottle at Dr. Jekyll’s Pub. Pours hazy amber with a minamal head. A bit fruity aroma with malt, citrus and some hops. Sweet and fruity with a well balanced bitterness. Hints of dried fruits and caramel. Quite pleasant. Alcohol is noticable, but well integrated. Quite nice!

Appearance: This one pours a hazy reddish color with a thick, creamy beige head
Flavor: Tastes mid-sweet up-front, but flows quickly into a medium-heavy, resiny hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, with some stickiness on the mouth, average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: I know I've said it before, but I'm still very excited that the Lost Abbey/Port stuff is now available in NJ! Anyway, this one was another really enjoyable one from Port. It has that nice West Coast hop feel, with some sweet malts for a little bit of balance. This one is a nice hoppy red for sure.

22 oz. bottle, pours an opaque mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma of bright citrusy hops and caramel malt with the hops slightly eclipsing the malt. Flavour is a wonderful mix of citrus hops and caramel malts, with brown sugar and a slight cinnamon-like spices. Finishes slightly spicy and hops. Exceedingly well-balanced and drinkable.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. A reddish brown colour and hazy with a small light beige head. Very dominant floral hoppy aromas but with also sweet berries and hints of leather, oak and alcohol. The flavours are also dominant of a wonderful hoppy flavour with the addition of some sweet malt and berries. Slick and almost creamy mouthfeel. A pretty bitter beer this one but has a well-balanced rounding to it. Really pleasant strong ale that is not far from a double IPA.

Pour is a dark red with a large white head. Aroma is oily hops with some sticky malts. Flavor is strong hops with a nice caramel malt. Alcohol is hidden well. Finish leaves a nice hops resin on the tounge. Deffinatly hits all the marks of a good American strong ale. Big hops thick malts.

Unclear dark brownish red with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 221011
