Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pale gold and cloudy with a white head. Aroma and taste of light malts, grains, and grass. Not much different from the average macro lager.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy pale gold color. Fluffy white finger high head. Fruity citrus aroma. Sweet light malt flavor with a touch of cereal grain and vegetal notes. Light grassy hops in mid taste floral and citrus hops in finish. Somewhat tasty with wheat-like characteristics. Better than the low rating indicates.

Bottle from trade with jtclockwork, many thanks James. Orange golden color with medium white head. Malty aroma with honey, earthy notes. Malty, nutty taste with honey, light hoppy bitterness in finish. Not typical lager, but OK.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy dirty gold with a creamy 4 finger off-white head. Aroma through the foam seems mildly citric. Near med body. Flavor seems bready, mild caramel, a little citrus. Finishes lightly bready, a touch yeasty, and not very bitter. Pretty refreshing on hot day.

Clear golden. Not much in the way of flavor or aroma besides a general maltiness. Light hops on the finish. Nothing otherworldly but it’s a good thirst quencher on a hat day.

MET Supermarket ($11): Pours a light bronzed color with a proper looking white head. Grainy and grassy aroma. A little cheapness thrown in. Beer is a little bit too sweet to be honest. Kind of candy-like. It has that feel that pale lagers do when they are not macro-brewed (I know that is a little vague, but I notice a recurring trend). Grain, and more grain throughout this beer it is found. Someone said this tastes just like Yuengling a few ratings below me and I couldn’t disagree more.

August 2008 Beer of the Month Club
Overall Impression: Pretty boring pale lager, nothing distinguishes it really. This was part of the my Aug 2008 beer of the month pack, looks like River Horse makes some interesting beers, too bad they sent me this one...
Hey Look, I'm the 100th Rater.

Wow THIS was bad. I opened two bottles - I thought I must have a bad one. Whew! No head at all, with a slight haze in a dark yellow beer. Some very slight hops. but otherwise it is odorless. No flavor, no carbonation, no nothing. Maybe some sourness?? Sorry!
