Cabin Fever is a well-balanced, medium-bodied ale brewed to sustain you over the long New England winter. Its rich malt profile is reminiscent of an English pale ale, while the spicy and fruity hop finish, from Tettnang hops, welcomes you back in from the cold. Copper-amber in color, this offering is available all winter long.

Muddy light brown color with a slightly off-white head. Weak aroma of malts... barely noticeable at least for me. Slightly fruity taste. Kind of dry feeling overall. Very minimal hops. Moderate taste of malts through and through.

at Honest Town BrewPub–on tap-pours an off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet medium malt. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, secondary floral hops. Doesn’t quite mesh.

Thanks to RCL for this really fresh brew. Big cloudy brown iced tea color and appearance. Majestic pale ale flavor with out overdoing it. Bitter on the medium low side. Fresh pale ale aromas, nothing out of the ordinary or distracting. Some chocolate comes thru on the big gulps. This is just one big fresh beer! Thanks Ray. One of the more refreshing american strong ales I’ve had.

2004 bottle. Pours a light orangish-yellow, with some bright hints of burnished gold in there. Light beige head, clear appearance. Aroma is wonderfully fruity, lightly spicy (hot cinnamon). Very estery with a dose of mild bready malt on the end. Flavor begins well enough, with a light hops flavor (papery, lightly floral and bitter). Some dry caramel malting along the way, with more of a strange zesty spice. However, this beer went horribly flat and watery quickly, which did not help the papery, dry, astringent nature of it. Hops dry the beer out excessively and though it does not get overly bitter, it just tastes stale and like chewing on paper. A dose of fruity esters, a touch of alcohol on the finish.
