Thanks to Beer Savant for sharing bottle #138/204. The beer pours a hazy brownish-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, bourbon and citrusy hops. Medium to full body with an oaky bourbon character and notes of malt, vanilla and herbal/piney hops. The finish is hoppy up front with an oaky and malty aftertaste. Pretty good beer overall.

22oz bottle #196/204-Small Gathering @my place shared by jtclockwork-pours a thin off white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet pineapple, light/medium malt-caramel, wood, some herbal. Taste is sweet lemon/pineapple, light/medium malt-caramel, wood, some herbal.

Bottle 165/204. Many thanks to Secret Santa for this one!! Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish exotic fruity hoppy bitter aroma with weak hints of caramel and vanilla. Sweetish malty bitter hoppy graoefruit and exotic fruit flavor with weak woody bourbon hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish with hints of bourbon and caramel in the aftertaste.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, grapefruity and pinewood. Bitter, fruity and pinewood hoppy initially flavoured. Slight soapy, solid grapefruity and pinewood. Bitter and dry finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, wood, and spices, leading to a dry finish. The combo doesn’t work for me.

cloudy orange, small white head. yeasty and bitter hoppy, wood. strange aroma flavor is quite bitter hoppy, exotic fruits, hop bitterness is pretty straight, not much fruit or pine. very bitter.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Bottle # 165/204. Pours a cloudy golden with an off-white head. Lovely aroma of Bourbon and citrusy hops. Juicy body, sweet fruitiness - actually the unusual blend of aroma hops and Bourbon comes out as very exotic fruits. Some licorice allsorts. Hoppy almost astringent finish. 290311

Bottle thanks to Stfun; shared at John’s tasting. Pours gold with white head. Nose of strong fresh pineapple, bubblegum, citrus, honey, barrel and caramel malt. Taste follows suit with the same flavor. Tiny hint of bourbon in the finish. Tasty brew.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery during the 5th anniversary party. Poured a hazy gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was earthy in both hops and barley with a subtle backing bourbon note. Flavor was earthy malts with minimal hops and the bourbon coming out in the finish.
