Bottle. Pours black with off white head. Nose and taste of fresh brewed coffee, vanilla and roasted malts. Thinnish mouth feel.

12 oz bottle...a good solid brown color with a tan head that comes and goes on the swirl....strong burnt malts and super strong coffee(the kind that requires multiple trips to the toilet)...flavors are not a s pungent as aroma...but good....has light milk stout qualities....the coffee is more muddled than in the aroma....a burnt malt finish and a lip stickiness...average weight in the mouth

My nose is a little stuffy so I don’t smell much coffee. Big black oily presentation, no head. First taste yeilds barely any carbonation. Comes across rude as bitter black cold coffee can be. Strong black morning coffee that was on the burner for awhile then chilled and served. CXan’t really tell there is alky in there due to the black coffeedness. Finish is same as session.

Bottle on 10/18/2009. Dark black body with a large creamy tan head. Sweet roast, chocolate and coffee aroma. Dry coffee flavor with some light bitterness on a chocolate and roast background. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large creamy dark tan head. The aroma was dry, bitter and roasty coffee. The flavor was dry, roasty, toasty and bitter with fairly strong coffee and a touch of cream. The finish was medium length dry and bitter. A bit thin in body but smooth. Solid.
