From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a deep amber galre, small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, coffee herbal. Dry, bitter, herbal and coffee. Bitter and solid coffee finish.
Taste like watery coffee.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, one centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, nuts and a bunch of earth. Medium to Light-bodied; Strong coffee flavour at first with some maple syrup and a touch of toffee, all with a lot of alcohol and even more bitterness. Aftertaste shows some richness from the coffee, a good amount of roasted malt and a faint instant coffee like flavour. Overall, a decent coffee based porter that is a touch watery, but not bad at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle brought after a hockey game by Ed (from Philadelphia) on 15-January-2014 in Arlington, Virginia - Thanks Ed!

Location: 12 oz bottle from Oak Tree, 12/6/12
Aroma: The nose has lots of roasted coffee, with some chocolate malts, and a little earth
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a small beige head that leaves scattered lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same as the nose, it is mostly roasted coffee, with a lightly bitter finish
Palate: Medium bodied, though a touch watery, with average-plus carbonation, and a light dry finish
Overall Impression: This is not a bad beer at all. The coffee presence works pretty well, and the beer itself works pretty well overall. It's nothing stellar, but I found it quite drinkable, and fairly well made.

12oz bottle pours a watery, but mostly opaque black with one ring of beige head. Nose of mild coffee, brown sugar, malt, a little brown bread. Flavor is the same, Little nutty, coffee, brown sugar, malt, bread. Medium bodied, dry finish. Neither the base beer nor the coffee are exceptional, but this is a decent little coffee porter.

Bottle from a trade with watson1977. Pours dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of roasted malts coffee and milk chocolate. Moderate roast flavor with some day old coffee. Thin to medium body with lots of carbonation. A little watery and not as much coffee as I like I’m my coffee beers. Thanks Kerry.

Dark with a ring of beige head. Roasted toasted malts, coffee, biscuits, light chocolate aroma. Creamy body. Flavor is full of toasted biscuit, roast malts, coffee, caramel, chocolate. Really nice beer- really nice. Not the run of the mill porter. Super tasty and highly drinkable.
