Poured into a shaker showing well filtered yellow with sparse white foam. The nose shows light banana with a light citric edge. The palate is full bodied and well carbonated. Banana shows up in the beginning with a light sweetness, matures into a strong corn flavored malts on the mid and once again on the finish. If not told, I would’ve sworn this was a wheat beer.

Location: Draft at Hoboken Bar & Grill, 1/30/11
Aroma: The nose is somewhat yeasty, some spice, citrus, and a bit of straw
Appearance: It has a hazy golden pour with a white head and light lace
Flavor: The flavor is a bit on the dull side, what is there is similar to the nose
Palate: The body is light-medium, leaning toward the thin side, fairly short duration
Overall Impression: Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed by this one. So far I haven't really seen too much from New Jersey Beer Company, but I'll keep giving them more chances as this area could sorely use a good micro-brewery.

Growler. Pours clear, honey-gold with a modest white head. Decent Belgian aroma with some bread, yeast honey and sugar. Flavor is sweet but not over-the-top, with pleasant honey notes, Belgian sugar and biscuit, then some mild citrus and pine bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Finishes sweet and finely sticky. A pretty nice take on this style.
