Rich malty flavors of caramelized and toasted grains dominate this robust Scotch ale. A hint of rye adds a crisp, scotch-like, old-world beer character, reminiscent of a simpler life from centuries ago. It’s a wee-bit heavy.

Kopparfärgad vätska med hög skumkrona. Aromer av torkade russin, dadlar och okryddat rågbröd. Rejäl och markerad maltighet möter en balanserad beska. Eldig munfyllnad och lång eftersmak.

Copper brown and cloudy with a slight head. Malty aroma with hints of syrup, toffee and caramel. Sweet and malty taste with hints of syrup, brown sugar, caramel, licorice and nuts. There is also a slight roastiness. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but still pleasant.

Bottle 0,65ltr:My first beer from Ohio, this amber ale with roasted malt flavors are subtle and not so hoppy aftertaste, where American beers are known for. And a nice long name for the beer.

Pour is a hazy red with a huge tan head. Aroma is caramel malt a little treacle and not much else. Flavor is pretty much the same. A little caramel malt, some molasses. Not heavy on flavor but hid the alcohol well.
