This mead has a heady perfumed aroma and flavors of lemongrass, clover, and fresh cut grass. Full-bodied with an aggressive and persistent bitterness that lets you know who’s boss.

Little bottle pours gold with just a couple of tiny bubbles murmuring up just like the Hallertau Hersbrucker we just opened. The aroma moves from sugar notes to a nice level of honey to floral hops and then to a bit of spicy hops. Neat-o. The taste delivers sweetness, smooth near rich honey, a pleasing addition of black tea and then growing into hop bitterness like almost vague bitter hop notes. Pretty darn bitter into the finish with hops that actually seem to take on a cedar wood like spiciness.
