Bottle A fun beer to try, not very good though. Tastes and smells a lot like a cheap rosé wine. And something a little spicy... licorice??

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 June 2011) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with raspberries, red fruit and caramel. Fruity, malty taste with notes of raspberries, caramel, black-currant, wine-gum and some spicy hints of yeast coming through in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness and fairly low bitterness. A bit like a saison with candy. Quite nice.

Bottle. Pours reddish amber. White head. Nose/taste of raspberry juice, yeast and lemongrass. Light with raspberry juice overpowering the complexity of the saison. Sessionable. Good "lawnmower beer."

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 4/28/11
Aroma: The nose is pretty much dominated by the raspberry, with a little bit of yeast as well
Appearance: A slightly hazy amber-orange color with a small white head and some decent lace
Flavor: The taste is fairly sweet, fruity and yeasty, much like the aroma would have suggested
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a sticky feel, and leaves a cloying sweetness on the mouth
Overall Impression: So, how to describe this one... Well, they can call it what they want, but this is a fruity beer. You know how it goes, a fruit beer by any name would taste as sweet. Anyway, this one wasn't really my style, too one dimensionally sweet and fruity for my tastes.

bottle pours hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is sour raspberry and lemon peel. Flavor is tart raspberry, toasted malt, citrus notes, extremely dry finish with a touch of funk.
